Kathryn Bareja is a social worker at Trillium Health Centre supporting patients in Cardiology, the Coronary Care Unit and Heart Function Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from York University in 1999 and her Masters of Social Work from Dalhousie University in 2005.
Kathryn's professional work focuses on people's problems in the context of their social environment. Social workers believe that people are influenced by the strengths and weaknesses of those around them - in their families, communities, workplaces and organizations.
Kathryn truly practices what she preaches. On a personal level, she maintains a healthy lifestyle with a healthy dose of stress. Ultimately, this positively affects her family, friends and patients.

Stacey Horodezny is the Clinical Leader for the Diabetes Management Centre at Trillium Health Centre. She is a graduate of Ryerson University, and has been a Registered Dietitian for eight years.
Stacey served as Services Chair on the Executive Board for the Canadian Diabetes Association, Peel Region Branch for two years, and is a co-founder of "Diabetes to Go", a corporately-sponsored program that promotes awareness of diabetes to people in Ontario.
She has been involved in the PRIISME Chronic Disease Management Program for the last three years at Trillium. PRIISME is a community-based initiative that partners with physicians and other health-care providers to promote optimal chronic disease management.
Stacey is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention and empowering people to cut their risk for disease by keeping a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Lee has been in family chiropractic practice since graduating Cum Laude in 1995 from the Parker College of Chiropractic, in Dallas, Texas. As class valedictorian, attaining the highest academic average in his graduating class, Dr. Lee is committed to serving his patients, and providing health care options to enhance the body's inborn abilities to heal.

Dr. Kujtan is author of Medical Matters, a weekly column discussing relevant contemporary medical issues. He is a gold medalist graduate from the University of Toronto and practices in the Mississauga area. He also holds appointment as an Ontario Provincial Coroner. Dr. Kujtan has travelled as a trip doctor with many and various groups to numerous locations around the globe.
Catherine Kiteley is a registered nurse with a master's degree. She works at The Credit Valley Hospital in the area of oncology and palliative care. Her clinical focus is on assisting patients and their families cope with living with cancer. Specifically her job is to give people as much information as they require and to have their questions answered in understandable terms. Catherine also helps with symptom management, emotional, psychological and spiritual support. She teaches at the University of Toronto, has published a number of articles, and works with Wellspring, a cancer support organization.
Judi Perry Brinkert is the manager of Wellspring Halton-Peel, a support centre for cancer patients and their families for the past 6 years. Before joining Wellspring, Judi was the Director of Programs for the Trillium Childhood Cancer Support Centre for 5 years in Ontario and Programme Director for 2.5 years at the Barretstown Gang Camp in Ireland – a multi-lingual, international camp for children with cancer and other blood related diseases.
Dr. Erin Truscott-Brock B.Sc.(Hons), N.D. is a Naturopathic Doctor in private practice in Toronto and is the naturopathic doctor for the Telus Wellness Centre. After completing an honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto she went on to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine for her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Her focus in practice is to optimize health in people of all ages, with all types of concerns, using a wide range of naturopathic treatment modalities. As well as her private practice, Dr. Truscott-Brock N.D. is a part-time associate professor and clinic faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is on the board of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Joined St. John Ambulance Brigade (Mississauga Division) in Canada in 1999 as member and appointed as Duty Officer two years later. Appointed to the grade of Serving Member in the Order of St. John, by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada and Prior of the Priory of Canada, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen of Canada and the Sovereign Head of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, in April 2004. Dr. Bill Lim graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1979 and practice as family physician in Toronto since 1980. He is the Medical Director of Mon Sheong Home for The Aged - downtown branch since 1984. He has a keen interest in Geriatric medicine, especially regarding dementia.
Brenda Callaghan has worked full time for the City of Mississauga Recreation and Parks department for the past 17 years. During this time Brenda has worked in various departments including Aquatics, Community Programming for Teens and Seniors in Malton and in the Fitness section as both a Fitness Supervisor and as the Fitness Analyst. Brenda is currently the Get Active Mississauga Physical Activity Coordinator.
A native of Guelph, Ontario, Ross spent his teens attending foot health seminars across North America, at that time his father oversaw one of Canada's largest family shoe stores. Ross trained under the tutelage of Italian and German shoemakers who custom made orthotics and shoes. He was also fortunate to have trained with some of the founders of the International Pedorthic Industry, including Dr. Brands of the Hansen's Disease Center in Carville Louisiana and Sir William Tuck, inventor of Plastizote.
After receiving his Certification in Pedorthics from Northwestern University, Ross co-founded BioPed Footcare Centres. This company specializes in the non-surgical treatment of foot problems and disorders through the fabrication and fitting of custom/made foot orthosis, therapeutic footwear and footwear modifications. With 32 centres, BioPed is currently one of the largest providers of these services in North America. Ross has also written pedorthic training programs that have been used by the Canadian Pedorthic Association and BioPed Footcare for training apprentice pedorthists.
A founding member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada, Ross is a frequent guest lecturer at over 80 annual medical rounds across Ontario. These are CME accredited programs as part of continuing education of the Ontario College of Family Physicians. He has also spoken to large forums such as The Annual Scientific Symposium of the College of Family Physicians, Primary Care Today by The University of Toronto, Foot and Ankle Symposium by The University of Toronto, Chinese medical associations, The Ukranian Medical Association and often speaks for 2-3 hours to resident intern programs at various Medical Universities throughout Ontario.
Each year Ross publishes material with a new theme on foot and ankle biomechanics. Within these materials, evidence based scientific research along with hundreds of patient pictorials are used to illustrate pedorthic treatment programs.
Recently, Ross' latest lecture series was featured on the MD Briefcase website for physician education. Currently there are 3 medical CME themes available from the BioPed Medical Education Department.
Dr. Ho completed his dental training at the University of Toronto. He then completed a hospital dental residency jointly at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago. Dr. Ho returned to the University of Toronto for his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesia. He is a member of the active staff in the department of Surgery at the Credit Valley Hospital.
Dr. Ho is a fellow of both the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada as well as the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
His research interests are in the area of bone graft substitutes. Dr. Ho has completed a masters thesis comparing autogenous bone (harvested from the patient) to different synthetic graft materials in the application of oral reconstruction.
Dr. Ho's clinical interests include bone grafting, dental implants and corrective jaw surgery.

From young adult-hood, Faye has had a life-long interest in health and fitness. Currently she leads chair exercise classes 5 times a week in Mississauga and Oakville. Additionally, she leads floor aerobics classes as well as a Stretch and Strengthen class for Square One Older Adult Centre. She is a member of CanFit Pro.
Elizabeth Mierzynski is a Certified Nia Instructor. She led her first class almost immediately after completing her Nia White Belt training. After a few months of teaching, she felt that she definitely has an inclination to work with seniors and children, so she would like to focus on offering Nia to these two groups.
Laura Comparey is a dynamic certified White Belt Nia Instructor with a background in fitness, dance, healing arts and personal growth. She is dedicated to spreading the joy of movement and the self-healing that comes from Nia and is currently teaching at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre in Mississauga through Mississauga Recreation and Parks.
Jane Markowitz, is a newly-retired school teacher who has recently celebrated 10 years of Nia! Her past experiences include work in Dance as a performer, choreographer, critic and educational author. She is a Nia Brown Belt holder who has been teaching and sharing in the Toronto area for 8 years. "Nia has changed the whole meaning my life journey," says Jane.
Tessie Ostonal is a Certified Nia Teacher. She has been practicing Nia for almost seven years now. She currently teaches in Mississauga, Toronto and Brampton. She not only leads her Nia classes with joy and exuberance but also serves as part motivator and part guide.
Chi Hung Tai Chi Academy was established by a group of Tai Chi enthusiasts in 1989 at St. Jerome Heritage Language School and moved to the present location in 1991. The goal of the Academy is to promote the health and the well being of the human kind by teaching the spirit and technique of the 88 movement Yang style Tai Chi Chuan to the communities. The style taught at the Academy is passed on by the late Master Chi Tong, who studied under Master C. Y. Tseung, the last student of the famous Yang style Master Yang Ching Fu.
Under the direction of Chief Instructor Philip Ho, the Academy has taught over hundreds of students. Besides Tai Chi the Academy also offers Chi Kung, Luk Hop Ba Fa Chuan and Wing Chun Kung Fu. The Academy is very active in participating in community events like Carassauga, fund raising for Yee Hong Foundation, health awareness seminars & demonstrations etc.
